Most customers with a participating utility company can qualify for Mass Save's heating and cooling rebates. Participating utilities include National Grid, Eversource, Unitil, and Columbia Gas. The size rebate you qualify for is determined by your current primary heat source, as well as the amount of BTU capacity you intend to have installed. There are no income restrictions to qualify for the $10,000 rebate. To qualify for the $16,000 rebate your household income must be lower than the income threshold below.

Customers with electric resistance heat can receive a $1,250 rebate per ton of installed capacity up to $10,000 or $16,000 if median income household.
Customers with oil heat can receive a $1,250 rebate per ton of installed capacity up to $10,000 or $16,000 if median income household.
Customers with natural gas heat can receive a $1,250 rebate per ton of installed capacity up to $10,000.
